# Pastor Zachery Tims’ Wife Speaks Out After His Tragic Death at 42

After earning a psychology degree from the University of Maryland, Tims and Reva moved to Florida in the mid-1990s to start New Destiny. What began as a small gathering grew into a thriving megachurch with thousands of attendees, fueled by Tims’ raw, relatable sermons about his past struggles and redemption. His national broadcasts on Trinity Broadcasting Network cemented his status as a televangelism star.
Yet, behind the success, Tims battled immense pressure. The demands of leading a global ministry, constant travel, and public scrutiny took a toll. Fame brought temptation, and whispers of resurfacing demons grew louder.
