In a male-dominated field, she faced skepticism but honed her skills, preparing for a life-changing opportunity. When the History Channel cast her for *Ice Road Truckers* in 2009, they initially saw her as mere “eye candy.”
Undeterred, Lisa turned this stereotype on its head, debuting in the third season as the youngest and only female trucker on the brutal Dalton Highway. Her skill in navigating massive loads across frozen terrains captivated nearly 3.5 million viewers, making her a symbol of resilience.
